How This Site Works

Two rules govern everything published here. Both exist because of specific ways this subject and this domain could mislead someone.

No live figures

No rate, price or conversion result is written into any page. A number published here would be stale within minutes while still carrying the authority of appearing in print. Everything is therefore written at the level that stays true — how a quote is assembled, what it excludes, how to compare two of them — and readers are pointed at live sources rather than given a frozen copy.

No contract addresses

This domain formerly belonged to a token project, and listing sites still send people here to verify a contract address. Several addresses circulate under similar names. No address is published here, because an unrelated website confirming one is precisely how a reader ends up buying the wrong contract. The reasoning is set out in full on the page about that project.

What gets stated as fact

Mechanisms, definitions and relationships — things independent of what any market did today. Where a page records a check, it carries the date the check was made, and states what was observed rather than what it implies about anyone.

Corrections

Errors are corrected in place and dated rather than quietly edited away. That includes corrections that make a third party look better.

These rules apply to every page, including the main subject of this site.
